Let's create this unique door decoration together and add a warm, rustic touch to your entryway.
Materials needed:
- A thick branch or birch trunk

- Tree bark
- nail
- Birch twigs
- wire
- moss
- Lace, decorative ribbon (optional)
Step 1: The little house gets its charming roof
- Begin by carefully sawing off one end of the thick branch or birch trunk at an angle. This cut will give your little house an inviting roof shape.
Step 2: Determine the size of the house
- Now saw the tree trunk to the desired length, for example 15 cm. This will form the base for your cozy little house.
Step 3: Designing the roof with attention to detail
- Take the natural tree bark and cut it to the required length. Then attach it to the top of the tree trunk with a simple nail. Think of it as the roof under which coziness will be created.
Step 4: Inviting wreath made of birch twigs
- Now comes the willow wreath, which forms the basis of your door decoration. To make it, weave birch twigs into a large wreath and use wire to firmly and securely bind the branches together. The wreath should be full enough to support your door decoration.
Step 5: Setting up the small house on the wreath
- Now place your decorated house on the wreath. To further enhance the natural look, place some collected moss under the wood.
Step 6: Add a delicate touch to the wreath with lace.
- You can now decorate the wreath with lace as you wish. Tie it loosely around the wreath to create an extra touch of springtime elegance.
