Having many products pre-made and in stock is neither sustainable nor does it allow for customizing the cutout in the top panel to your specific television. That's why we decided from the very beginning to manufacture only to order. For most of our products, we have components readily available and pre-produced, allowing us to reduce the delivery time to 2-3 weeks. Your order will be put into production after we receive your payment and your television's width measurement, and will then undergo several stages at our production facility near Hamburg. This allows us to guarantee you a high-quality and durable product. Because our production process includes many steps that are actually carried out by hand, we need the stated delivery time.

Immediately after your purchase you will receive a purchase confirmation containing the same information as the later invoice. The delivery date is required by law in every invoice. Since the delivery date is not yet exactly dated at the time of purchase, we will only send the invoice upon delivery. “Newly carpentered” means solidly carpentered washbasins made of selected woods with partly hand-carved decorations, based on old building plans from the Wilhelminian era and partly Art Nouveau. Finally, these are painted and sealed by hand.

This depends heavily on the respective dresser. Most of the chests of drawers come from the Wilhelminian era between 1850 and 1890. We also have a small selection of 200 to 250 year old pieces from the Biedermeier period, rarely older pieces.

Of course, the presence of wormholes does not mean that the woodworms are still alive. As a precaution, we treat all chests of drawers with an environmentally friendly anti-woodworm agent so that the unpopular creatures do not survive. If there was still a living woodworm in the old wood and survived the anti-woodworm treatment, the following can be said: The woodworm's potential for destruction is very low. The wood only loses its stability when there is an extremely high density of woodworm holes. The small woodworm is often confused with the actually “dangerous” woodworm, which leaves holes approx. 4-5mm in size and therefore has “real destructive power”.
