Yes! Our kitchens are solid wood joinery, meaning they are mortised and tenoned and glued, and delivered or finished as a complete piece of furniture. The only exception is kitchen buffets, which are delivered in two parts for logistical reasons. On-site, you may need to install and connect the sink and your electrical appliances.

Our kitchen can be combined with all individual kitchen elements – but also with an old kitchen sideboard from Grandma or an oven and refrigerator from Smeg. In your kitchen, you have the freedom to place the individual pieces of furniture according to your needs.

We recommend a kitchen size of at least 10 square meters for our kitchen concept. It actually gets tight underneath. Our model kitchen is light and casual in our exhibition, including a buffet and bar on 14 square meters.

The concept of our country-style kitchen differs fundamentally from typical country kitchens due to its modular construction. It draws inspiration from historical country kitchens, where individual elements were loosely arranged. To meet modern demands and create a harmonious ensemble, we have carefully maintained visual lines: for example, the top drawers and the feet of our modules are all at the same height. The depth of each element is coordinated. Carved ornaments (volutes) are a recurring feature on all elements. Furthermore, we have chosen distinctive drip fittings for all kitchen units, which are perfectly matched to our faucet. This creates, on the one hand, the light and airy feel of a true country-style kitchen, and on the other hand, provides visual focal points and a sense of harmony.

We designed our country-style kitchen, just like we designed our first washstands, based on real-life experiences – very much in line with our family's everyday life. We know from our own experience when space is limited, especially when it comes to providing even the youngest children with a work surface for baking cookies. In our country-style kitchen, they can simply pull out a small extension of the work surface from under the countertop. Then, when you need a tray to quickly serve strawberry tarts in the meadow, the tray is always within easy reach but neatly stored away. The towel hangs exactly where it's needed – right under the sink.

Fitted kitchens are a relic of the 1960s. This innovation of the time was considered cutting-edge and incredibly practical. This perception has become so deeply ingrained that the fitted kitchen has been regarded as the gold standard for generations. Kitchen planning takes hours in a kitchen showroom. Kitchen installation, however, is usually a minor disaster. Often, installation teams arrive two or three times, resulting in months of waiting, before the installation is finally completed and the country-style fitted kitchen can finally be used. If you then realize that the planning wasn't ideal after all, or if you want to make changes later, you're out of luck: the kitchen is permanently installed. Completely inflexible. Whether your budget has increased or you're moving house, the kitchen usually stays exactly where and when it is. Installed, and therefore all possibilities are closed.

We disagree. It would be practical to be able to insert a screw or hook here, or to easily repair a dent. It would also be practical to be able to quickly wipe under the worktops if milk accidentally spills underneath. Even country-style fitted kitchens are usually made of formaldehyde-coated MDF panels. No screw will hold in these, and every scratch in the foil is an entry point for moisture, which will soon cause the damage to swell.

In our opinion, a kitchen should above all be inviting, warm, and comfortable. Our kitchen modules are finished in light, airy colors. We deliberately chose round furniture legs to create a sense of lightness through the open design and to emphasize the rustic character of the country-style kitchen. The turn-of-the-century look fits perfectly into a country house and combines the charming, somewhat playful design of that era with modern conveniences (drawer runners, carousel).

At Land & Liebe, sustainability and individuality are paramount. Having many pre-made products in stock is neither sustainable nor does it allow for individuality. That's why we decided from the very beginning to produce only to order, as this allows us to customize the dimensions, layout, and color to your exact specifications. Your order will go into production after payment is received and will then proceed through the necessary steps in our manufacturing process. This allows us to guarantee you a high-quality and durable product. Because our production process includes many steps that are actually carried out by hand, we require the stated delivery time.

The shipping company will notify you of the delivery date in good time via email or telephone, so that you can personally receive your furniture.

Once we receive your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. After we receive your payment, your kitchen module will be manufactured. You will receive an email notification as soon as your country-style kitchen is ready for collection or has been handed over to the shipping company. The shipping company will contact you to schedule your delivery date.
