Materials needed:
- zinc tub
- Earth
- Spring flowers such as daffodils, primroses or hyacinths
- Optional small tree (depending on the size of the zinc tub)
- moss
- Birch twigs
- wire
- Lace or decorative ribbon
- Fill the zinc tub with soil and plant your chosen spring flowers. Depending on the size of the tub, you can also include a small tree for an extra touch of freshness and greenery.
- Cover bare patches of soil with moss to achieve a natural and organic look.
- Divide the birch twig into two halves and tie them together at the bottom with wire to create the basic structure of the heart.
- The two upper ends of the birch twig each form half of the heart. To achieve the round shape, bring both ends down to the center and tie them there with wire.
- Now cut off the protruding ends at the tip of the heart to achieve a uniform shape.
- Conceal the wire by wrapping some lace or decorative ribbon around the heart and securing it with a pretty bow.
- If you have any birch twigs left over, you can attach them decoratively to the zinc tub. Divide the birch twigs in half and attach one half to each of the tub's handles. Bring both ends together in the middle with wire to create a slight bow effect.
