What do you do if you have found one of the most beautiful chests of drawers ever, but it is in a completely neglected condition? Sometimes, as in this case, it's not enough to lovingly refurbish it, re-glue it, freshly sand it, open doors and drawers, fix loose feet, drive the woodworm out of it, give it a fresh coat of paint, etc. No, sometimes For example, the magnificent leg decoration is missing, such a magical ornament as can be seen on the left side.
Then we have two options: Either we remove the remaining ornament. That would hardly be noticeable. But we can't bring ourselves to do that. The alternative is our father - he loves such challenges and carves the missing ornament out of soft lime wood, often taking hours of work.
This special vanity unit, still in its original condition below, has already been sold and will soon be going to Switzerland. But the big sister is still available from us as the Land & Liebe double washbasin “Mikkeli”.
