Insight into our workshop: Wilhelminian style meets modern
Team Land & Liebe |
Admittedly a bit old, but it always retains its nostalgic value.
Just like the “Lagrasse” washbasin, the entire body and top were sanded several times to make the surface as smooth and supple as possible.
The two side trims then had to be removed and replaced.
The color choice for the body was a satin blue-gray, which achieved its full opacity after three coats.
To contrast the color of the top with the rest of the body, a mixture of walnut and mahogany paint was used. Finally, brass fittings were added.
The “Le Havre” washbasin represents the classic look of a chest of drawers from the Wilhelminian era and stands out elegantly thanks to the chosen color combination. The modern sink completes the magnificent overall picture.
