We love furniture with history. We love working with wood.
Originally, we were two sisters with a shared passion, an unusual idea and very different skills: Verena, a passionate designer with a flair for shapes and colors, creativity and craftsmanship. And Julika, an industrial engineer and entrepreneur for the world of numbers and optimal work processes.
The idea itself arose from our own needs: there was simply no other way to furnish our own bathrooms in our nostalgic country house style than to pick up a paintbrush and saw ourselves. Trained from an early age in my father's workshop, after a few days we each had a piece of jewelry in our bathrooms. Much praised by our guests, we suspected that others would also take a liking to such unusual washing areas. Shortly after our foundation, LandLust magazine became aware of us and came to take a photo and interview. Encouraged by this interest, we devoted ourselves entirely to our new company from then on.
We never expected that this niche would grow into a company with a great team and over 400 m² of factory and exhibition space. We owe this to our dear customers, who were just as enthusiastic about our washbasins as we were.

Land & Liebe Badmöbel is a family business that handcrafts antique and new chests of drawers into nostalgic washbasins with great attention to detail. As probably the only washstand manufacturer in Europe, we inspire all lovers of the country house and shabby chic style, which is finally finding its way into the bathroom. Our advice is individual, professional and cordial.
Our aim is to make every single customer happy and, thanks to our first-class service, to enable them to find their personal favorite piece for the bathroom.

We work with great precision and focus. Every process at Land & Liebe is geared towards the customer. We know the customer's expectations and will exceed them. In addition, in each individual case we think specifically about how we can delight the customer in question. We are always eager to receive customer feedback, as we want to understand what we have done well and where we can improve further.
We try to avoid mistakes. We always look twice to find mistakes ourselves. If a mistake has happened, we own up to it and derive from it what we can change in the future to avoid the mistake.

Our customer advisory service sees itself as a personal consultant: we ask detailed questions, listen carefully, understand the customer's wishes and then work together with expertise and enthusiasm to develop the optimum offer for the customer. We love arranging individual washbasins for our customers, are naturally also available as the first point of contact during the production process right through to delivery and are eager to receive feedback. We are open-minded, cordial and authentic in our dealings with customers and establish a personal relationship with them as well as a professional one.

We avoid any kind of waste in our day-to-day work and are always looking for ways to become more environmentally friendly. We prefer to use second-hand chests of drawers, which are refurbished so that they are as functional and hygienic as a new product, but with significantly less impact on our environment.
We get involved by donating some of our manpower (donated washbasin) and by integrating and supporting people who have had fewer opportunities in life than we have (jobs for refugees). We enjoy our culturally and professionally very different backgrounds as a diverse community in which we are interested in each other and learn from each other.
