We love furniture with a history. We love working with wood.
Originally, we were two sisters with a shared passion, an unusual idea, and very different skills: Verena, a passionate designer with a keen eye for shapes and colors, creativity, and craftsmanship. And Julika, an industrial engineer and entrepreneur with a knack for numbers and optimized work processes.
The idea itself arose from our own need: there was simply no other way to furnish our own bathrooms in our nostalgic country style than to pick up a brush and saw ourselves. Trained in my father's workshop since childhood, after just a few days each we had a beautiful piece of furniture in our bathrooms. Highly praised by our guests, we suspected that others would also appreciate such unusual washbasins. Shortly after founding our company, the magazine LandLust took notice of us and came for a photo and interview. Encouraged by this interest, we then devoted ourselves entirely to our new business.
We never expected that this niche would grow into a company with a fantastic team and over 400 square meters of factory and showroom space. We owe this success to our wonderful customers, who were just as enthusiastic about our washbasins as we were.

Land & Liebe Bathroom Furniture is a family business that lovingly handcrafts antique and new chests of drawers into nostalgic washstands with meticulous attention to detail. As likely the only washstand manufacturer in Europe, we delight all lovers of the country house and shabby chic styles, which are finally making their way into the bathroom. Our consultations are personalized, professional, and friendly.
Our goal is to make every single customer happy and to enable them to find their personal favorite item for the bathroom thanks to our first-class service.

In our daily work, we avoid all forms of waste and constantly seek ways to become more environmentally friendly. We preferentially use second-hand dressers that are refurbished to be just as functional and hygienic as new products, but with a significantly lower environmental impact.
We are committed to social responsibility by donating a portion of our labor (donation-based washing machine) and by integrating and supporting people who have had fewer opportunities in life than we have (jobs for refugees). We value our diverse cultural and professional backgrounds as a rich and inclusive environment where we are interested in one another and learn from each other.
